Welcome to follow up message of the GBHC GU12 team!

First game is now behind us. Friendly against the BU12 - but a 2-1 win with a very good GU12 team. All the girls played really well – actually very well. I am quite impressed. Let’s keep up the winning streak!

BAD NEWS this evening September 25th Andover GU12 manager contacted me that they cannot field a team for this Sunday September 29th. This game will therefore have to be postponed – now played on October 13th – 12.15 push back. I do not like it one bit – but I prefer to postpone so the girls can play (rather than taking the forfeit). As you know we have Hockey for Heroes on that day and we wanted to take a picture of the team - pitch is booked so we can have a session for GU12. However I can understand if you now make alternative arrangements.

We will need to take team picture in our new kit when we play the first game so we can share this on Social Media and Pitchero.

GOOD NEWS – Havant GU12 manager reached out to me and we are arranging two friendlies; first one is in Havant on November 17th (10am push back) and the return fixture will be Sunday January 26th 2020. We also play Havant on November 24th for league but we should always welcome 2 friendly games.

MORE GOOD NEWS – I am in the process of arranging a GU12 fixture against the local rivals – Fareham GU12. I will keep you posted on developments.
