I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the juniors who came down and participated/ helped with the open day yesterday. It was fantastic to see you all. Being able play with Jo Hunter, what an opportunity. One junior member's comment of "I’m going to humiliate her" shows what drive ,commitment and fun that you all have.

The sponsorship event was a success and thanks to those that came back down to complete the assault course in the heat. The goalies certainly had a work out. I believe the top score was 5 shots on target. As for the assault course, next time I reckon it’s the adults/parents turn and the juniors are in charge of the water pistols.

On to more mundane matters - for those that have collected sponsorship or wish to donate, it would be great to have all monies in by 18th July the last junior training session. Money can be given to myself, Claire Searle or Donna Sutton.

With permission of the club, the hope is to be able to give any child who has paid membership a free training top and prize for most sponsorship collected.
